Can the cancel time on these be changed? Even if it's a resistor or something that can be changed. Signals work good and cancel just to soon. Thanks

I am interested to know this as well. i do not use the auto turn signal setting for this exact reason.

My guess is a new turn signal cancel unit would have to be constructed.

These circuits used to be built using a 555 timer circuit which has a resistor and capacitor which sets the "time out" duration. The configuration is called a "one shot" where it provides a 12V output for a fixed time period then goes off until you reset the switch.

So changing the resistor and or capacitor would change timing? Theoretically of course.. Is the signal unit sealed on these bikes do you know?

The assemblies on mine were potted in epoxy.

my KZ had the self canceling deal also, but I removed it and all it's glory. After redoing my harness, the speedo has 4 wires, two for the bulb and according to a wiring diagram, the other two were distance sensor that's also part of the SCSL circuit.
