So, at the beginning of the original service manual in the specification section, it calls for a B6ES spark plug, but in another section on page 181 where it explains why plugs are hot and cold, it calls for a B8ES for normal riding. What s the right plug for this bike? I use pod filters and a 2into1 pipe if that makes any difference. Thanks

A B6ES is a fairly hot plug, and a B7ES is a little colder. You'll need to check the sparkplugs to determine what the engine needs for proper combustion. And the Ethanol in todays gasoline, makes it hard to determine that.

I think the B6ES is the correct plug for "combined" riding (city stop and go and expressway). If you ride only on the freeway, I think B7ES might be better but B6ES is definitely the plug specified in the FSM for the 750 twin for general usage. I have always run B6ES (35 years).
