So I started with an 81 KZ 1000 . Last year I blew my number one piston and I rebuilt the engine using and 84 gpz 1000 jug and piston. The bike runs great. But My ignition has some "Cut out" issues.
My question is this, If one were to make a wish list for ignition what parts would you all want?
Coils? Igintion? The timing advance thingy? are there after market?

if it were me, I'd look at MSD for a ignition system. Dyna makes good systems too, so comparison shop.

The Dyna 2000 system is the way to go. I have an early one on my FJ1200 and it works very well. The latest 2000 systems are even better. They can now be reprogrammed using a home computer and they have a shift light output. The Dyna tech folks are helpful too.

you got a link to the dyna stuff?
What about coils or the timing advance thing any upgrades for those?
