OK guys I have a problem my bike had a set of really messed up carbs so I bought another set and was cleaning them to put them on all was well till I went to clean the idle passage on the side towards the engine three of the adjustment screws came out OK but someone had them six turns out the fourth one the slot stripped out since I have another set for the screw how good of a chance do I have to drill it out and use a extractor or am I going to be better off switching that body for one of my others thank you any help is appreciated

It's hard to say without seeing it like Zepherrider says. The screw may be brass and easy to drill into but on the other hand it's pretty small so you would need to be careful. I'm kinda thinking though that you have nothing to lose by trying a drill and extractor. At least if you wreck it you have a backup.

Your best bet would be a reverse drill bit.

Well the reverse drill didn't work but I used a extractor that works both ways and got it out
