C'mon... I didn't mean to ridicule you... just having a little fun at your expense.. :) You're not the first cowboy showing up here with a quarter horse looking to turn it into a jackass. Nor will you be the last...

If you want do it... read up on the link I posted for you for a starter and if you want the pertinent air / fuel requirements I'll do that for you... seriously I will :cheer:

What the hell... succeed with it and the hand out salt shakers with the crow drum sticks you'll be giving out... we'll have to eat them

Yes..but because you can't synch something to another if it doesn't exist...

With a single carb setup and plenum manifold you can run into uneven fuel distribution between cylinders because of the uneven pressure differentials per port. That stated you really can't claim the single carb as beneficial from that perspective.

With one unit per intake runner you help to alleviate that situation.

If carb synch difficulties is your main issue then consider this. The last years of the bike Kaws with carbs on them used CVK Keihins. The're a breeze to synch because the use a simple phillips head screw that's spring loaded...no locknut to fuss with.

A member named Bozo... put a rack on a KZ1000 and according to him, they worked great. That might be and alternative project but with more promising end results and less modifications. You will most probably have to re rack the carbs though.... But as I recall the first 600 Ninjas had cam chains down the middle of the engine so perhaps ...might be a possible fit with less work than a motor with a cam chain on the end of the crank....

Look him up and send him a PM. He built a nice bike... He's NOT a hacker by any means...
