Hi! Everyone i'am new in KZ site I'm retired and I have I nice Kawasaki Z 1000 ST model year1978 or 1979 witch I gave to a so call motorbike mechanic some years go to fix .Big mistake got rip off and had to go to the local police station to get my bike back was recommendation of a young men next door who himself was fixing few bike as hobby anyways since then I was too busy at work to do anything but now I have time and like to restore it maybe into a café racer but close to what it was when new got all the parts may need new electrical harness the last mechanic did a mess with the wiring ,cover the lot with tape then couldn't connect anything total idiot ps I stay calm wellif anyone has a picture or can explain to me how to connect the 4 carburators to the fuel line ect ect that be big help PS I've got the American manual for the bike but so far nothing on how to reconnect regards Robert in Sydney

Hello, Robert, and WELCOME to KZr! :cheer:

These connections are similar.



The VENTS have hoses that exit to open air.

The OVERFLOW nipples have hoses that exit underneath the bike.

Some carbs have a single intake fuel tee, and not double tees as shown in the illustration.
