Plugging along with my 77' KZ1000A. Collecting parts and info. as I go. Appreciate "all" the support everyone has given! My stock a air box wasn't in the best of shape, so looking for another. Do I have to stay with the same year or will other years fit? Also, need to replace air duct hoses. They're all cracked. Who has the best price? Found one business that has OEM "Chinese" made. Would those be okay to use?

Ed, Maybe the OEM Genuine Kawasaki parts are better than the Reproduction Chinese parts, I don't know. But there is a substantial cost difference. How about the Airbox? Would you happen to know if other air boxes will fit?

According to Kawasaki.com the following models all use the same part number for the air box body. Ed

Z1 air box will fit.
As hoses are an integral part of the Z1 air box, there are no separate hoses.
