No eBay APP ID and/or Cert ID defined in Kunena configurationDuuude! Great eye! Those are much cheaper than new, even on ebay! They appear to be the same as the rc-2222s.
I called K&N as well, no luck with a concrete answer there. Thats OK, They gave me measurements which I had already gotten online. My carburetors are 3in +- center to center on the intake throat side, with 42mm flanges. The rc-2222s should fit quite well.

I am going to contact that ebay seller just to make sure that is the model #.

Will advise on what I hear back and what happens!

For anyone else interested, I also found a Henry Abe air cleaner on ebay...

Pretty cool item. Not sure if I would really dig the way it looks, but I love the old school aspect.

Awesome picture! I just bought a set on Ebay for $63. I was watching an auction for a set, but it still has 4 days left, and I imagine it will probably get up to near that price anyway with $11 shipping. The sooner I get these, the better. I'm planning on riding to the Smoke Out motorcycle rally/party in 2 weeks, It'll be a 1500 mile round trip. Did it on my KZ a few years ago as well.

I have done a fair amount of research on rejetting - I have ordered a set of #120 mains. May play with the needle position too. Not decided about pilots yet.

Ready2Ryde, what did you end up doing as far as jetting goes?

I have tryed in past to get my 700 s jetting somewhere in the ball park but to no avial .. done some resurch and noticed there is an order ove operations and the first thing is one I won't tuch lol. Gona have a guy check my valves and make shure eveything there is doin its job then to rejet the carbs . For now I taped off the inside and reset my airscrews. Runs ok tends to blow lean so I'm not doin a lot of riding just enough to get it out of my. System lol

Update:

My carburetor rebuild is pretty much complete - dipped, cleaned, etc. with all new O-rings, gaskets, and rubber choke plunger caps.

As of now I have installed #120 main jets. The pilots are stock (#17.5) and the needles are on the 3rd clip. I have debated on moving them up to the 4th.

The k&n filters, item rc-2222, have arrived. They seem to fit onto the carb bank like they were made for them! Only have one on carbs 1&2 as of now, carbs are still off of bike.

Will include photos in a few days with another update.

I bought my O-rings from CycleOrings.com. I have used a set from him before on a set of CV carbs for a GS650. Nice sets with everything you need, and they are well organized and labeled.

I got all the other stuff from Z1 Enterprises. I pretty much get everything from there.

As a side note, I just rode 1,700 miles in the last 5 days on my 900 with these air filters installed. Went from New Orleans to Rockingham, NC and back. The filters held up well. The bike ran well - I think I am definitely going to go up a notch on the needles and give that a shot. I would rather run on the rich side of things than the lean - I'm at sea level and it is pretty hot down here. The position of my legs on the highway has a pretty direct impact on how the bike runs - if I keep them tight in the bike runs well, if I bring them out it forces too much air sideways into the filters and the bike leans out and loses alot of power. The engine is also much louder - I can hear the valves and the roar of the engine more. I love the suction sound when I juice it.

Will post some pics soon.

You need to go down a notch on the needle with the clip to richen, not up. You may want to try the little washers that allow you to go half a clip setting if you are that close.
Good luck! David
