I have a 82 kz550 ltd and I want to lower the cruising rpm In 6th gear, what aftermarket sprocket sizes I can do to it. I believe the stock sprockets are 16 tooth front and 38 tooth rear.

Bumping the front to 17 tooth is a good fix assuming there are no clearance issues. I'd try that before going taller because the bike starts to get doggy off the bottom.

The stock gearing should give you over 100mph.

It should lower your RPM by 500 or so at 60.
