I installed a off the shelf relay for my coils. It goes directly to the battery with a fuse. It is activated by the switches. Both coils get power from the same wire. Most are yellow with red stripe. The others go to the points/ contacts or igniter.

Steve you talking about the wiredgeorge method? I did it years ago- before i even found this forum and was on a different one that I can't remember the name-but a fella named stargate or something in Arkansas helped me through it. Been working great with never an issue.

I did this: red tester probe on the yellow/red wire
Black tester probe on the black wire
Key on: 11.54 volts.

When testing voltage black probe on battery ground. And I mean right on the battery, Perferably with the point you are testing disconnected from any load. You can work from there, but if you skip step #1, you will be chasing your tail endlessly.

I have electronic, no points. So i made a mistake testing that way i wrote?
The relay swest are talking about so its a modification? For now i need to just restore power at my coils :( or understand if i did well the test.
I can read on my meter power only to te right coil.
I think my terribile , random idle , its just weak spark.. :(

You can energize the relay straight from the coil + as RWest suggests. This way when the key is on, you get battery power direct to the coils.

That's weird you say that Steve as I keep going back here hoping a cure is found ....and wiring is my weakest point.

It may be something simple or the igniter could be shorted on that one leg. Might have to get a Dyna S and move on.

OK. Let me make a point.
First of all i get a professional bench meter..
I have 750 ohm in my pickupcoil wires. Both :(
Is it shot?

Then i measured again the coil voltage.
If i use the black meter probe on the frame, at ground, i have +12volts to both side.
If i use only the wires, i have voltage only at the right coil, as i said before.

Why i have to measure voltage with black probe on the ground, if i will have my coils attached to te wires?
The coils need to be good groundend then?

I tryed to test my igniter too. I cant read anything else than a flickering "19.999" on the meter. :(

Your manual will have the procedure for testing the igniter. Invariably they will also say if it tests good but still doesn't work, switch it with a known good unit. :pinch: I had a 175 years ago. No matter what I did, it still wouldn't fire. I found a used one and rode that bike until the top end blew. I wish I'd kept it.
