I'm bringing a 150 dollar bike back to life!

What's going on with these plugs?

Now for an oil change and new gas. Then see if she starts with new battery. Then valve adjustment and exhaust fix. Get the brakes unstuck (maybe just the front or rear) and drive to get new tires put on!

Also just saw the new Mad Max...wow. Old one had a Kz1000 but I didn't see one with this.

Nothing wrong with those plugs as long as you plan to install them in a Ford. Ed

Ya idk never heard of them before. Bought the right ones today but don't fit the spark boots. I have some off my kz1000 build so I'll use those.

The plugs in your first picture have the little tops removed, they just screw on, and some caps wont fit with the little tops on the plugs.
I suspect your new plugs may need the tops removed to fit you spark plug caps.

So they just screw off? Odd! Never knew you could do that.

Yes, may need a pair of pliers to get a good grip.
I have different spark plug wrenches to remove the plugs, and some have the rubber piece inside the socket.
You have to remove the little tops on the plugs to use these sockets.

I just picked up the same bike for 150! And I had to screw those tops off my plugs as well, they should screw off normally. BTW if you need any of the chrome bits I'll give you mine for the cost of shipping. I'm making a cafe racer so don't need them

Good grief! So the previous owner had never heard the phrase "routine maintenance"? Ed
