Hey guys, I just picked up on another 78 kz650.

It has a 4 into 1 header on it. The header runs out on the left side of the bike. I've never seen one like this. Every 4 into 1 header I've seen, runs out on the right side of the bike.

Who made headers like this ?? It's been painted with high temp black paint. I have no idea if it used to be chrome. Anyone have any idea of the manufacturer of this header ??

I'm having issues getting a picture posted, as I keep getting a fatal error message, and get kicked out of the post ??

650ed, the muffler part of this header looks a lot like the mufflers that were on my 80 kz750 4x2 exhaust. Except for this header being painted black. I have no idea yet if this header was originally chromed.

Not sure what pipe that is. At first I thought it looked like my left hand side Denco pipe, but they are different. Your primaries look longer and the end of the megaphone appears to be cut at an angle that mine is not. The bracket that attaches the megaphone is not like mine either. Mine attaches at the rear foot peg, yours between the rear foot peg and the axle.
