If the oil ring was overlapped wouldn't it have shown up in the first 2 rides ?? I don't know just throwing out a idea.

I would be sick if I would of have to of torn mine down again..... was a big worry of mine till I had 10 - 20 miles on it (getting a oil ring overlapped) from all I read on it happening.

Intakes are clean as a whistle. Ex on #2 carboned. Tool head off rechecked all valve seals. Replaced both on #2 just in case. Pulled cylinders and what would you know expander ring overlapped!!

Well guys I replaced valve stem seals on both intake and exauhst on number 2 cylinder, replaced the oil expander ring on number 2 cylinder. Put it back together fired it And sounds great except still smoking. I'm just gonna put some miles on her and see if it clears up.
