Hey guys, I sent out my engine covers on wednesday and got back pictures of them done and have to share. Here is what they looked like before, pretty typical of what most old covers look like.

and here are the finished pieces!

The work was done by Evans detailing and polishing. He did a great job and only cost $95. Sure I could have done them myself but as you probably know polishing is very tedious and time consuming, in my opinion it was money well spent.

Very Nice.... and I know I wouldn't spend the time to get that quality for only 95.00..... So I also think money well spent :)

Are you going to coat them and what with? I spent hours on mine but bought the chrome finned ones later. Started to dull again. My forks lowers are doing the same. I bought some clear engine coat for them after I re do what I've already done. This time it will be easier, I don't have to get past the 40 year old coating but I don't want to do this every year.
