knowing its coming I have decided to try and redo my tired old motor this winter
I have yet to collect the necessary parts

I am thinking 1075
need pistons
head redone
28-32 carbs
what cams are best bang for buck? I really just want a solid quick (relative) reliable rider
I am sure I have a local machine shop that has bored a few blocks
I have a guy I mind to assemble if he has the time between travels and his own builds
any suggestions on specific head work etc.. would be greatly appreciated

will give me the time to actually pull my bike all the way down detail refab and finish her if that's actually
a thing always been told you never finish one.

This is my 1st so it will probably be buried with me as others will come and go I can hopefully get the old girl
thrown together before moving on LOL

I just boxed up my head and getting ready to send it off to Larry cavanaugh. He's running a decent sale this month. I looked into getting my cylinder done 1075 through pit stop Performance the price is very good for what you get. He claims that he's got a good setup to use with your stock cams. But I knocked a couple pieces of fins off ..so now I'm waiting till I take the bottom end in to the guy who's redoing it to ask his opinion or by another cylinder
