Well got my new starter clutch in and I wanna install it but I'm wondering is their suppose to be washer between outside bearings and primary shaft 1980kz750 h1

I have never replaced starter clutch

FYI it don't use a washer on the 27mm bolt side if u ever change the shaft or replace the starter clutch just make sure the bearings are in all the way the clutch gear side has a bearing stop with in the hole but on the 27mm side it don't so u can tap the Bearing pretty close to being flush with the primary shaft.... Also.... If u ever install one put the clutch gear on first would make bit easier also the bearing plate behind it put it in place kinda tight squeeze back their thanks
