Sorry but we are way behind with putting new projects on our website. We are hoping to catch up in the summer but we are pre occupied with the current workload.

Sanctuary in Japan make a 6 speed gearbox for a Z1 900 / 1000

I know a GPZ 1100 gear box can be fitted to a Z1900 / 1000

I wonder if the reverse could be done
Fitting a Sanctuary 6 speed made for a Z1 into a GPZ / J model cases

Small engines need 6 speed (600cc)
Big engines (BossHoss) can have just 2.
I had Vulcan 1500, it had 4 speed, that was enough!

I'm always looking for a 6th gear even with my tall gearing.

very old post, back in 2016 l looked at purchasing a Sanctuary 6 speed for my Z1000 A1 Moriwaki look-a-like build but was unable to make contact with Sanctuary or Webike who were selling at the time so give up, it was pricey from memory AUD$5,500, did anyone here purchase and fit one to their Zed 900/1000? very interested in results as building a look-a-like of the French Endurance racers from the 70,s/80,s.

Thanks ever so much Injected, l’ll try make contact, just need to find out what other parts are required but most importantly if any mod’s are need (machining etc…).

Its strange how they don't even tell you what the final gearing is or if they changed the ratio's.

On the positive side it does seem that it is "undercut" to prevent missed shifts, not sure if it is just on the up shifts or also on the downshifts (the later used in road racing)

A bit cheaper than the last time you checked but not by much.
