Cause u said three things spark fuel and compression so when comes to spark it's stator rectifier or coils spark plugs or battery... When comes to fuel floats jets petcock fuel filter compression valves rings head gasket... So starting off floats are good did them few times... Jets are clean... Petcock don't have one custom tank... Fuel filter got fuel it's glass... When comes to ignition advancer free... Bought brand new coils from z1 new plugs from Napa.. Put new connectors on all the wires...I don't have a tach so can't read the rpms but charging systems is putting out voltage spec...only thing haven't ruled out is bad battery cell cause battery does charge with the tender charger...as for compression I have new rings all working great valves got seated machined and clearances all check out... timing is spot on...so that being said like u said zero 10 either no spark or starving...

If the vent on your fuel tank is blocked that would kill it. I've only heard of this happening, haven't experienced it, so I don't know if it would present as dying fast or slow. Anyway it's an easy thing to check, run it with the fuelling cap open. Good Luck.
