Located in Xenia, OH, the same place the deadly tornadoes went through in 1974 (only thing that people would know Xenia for)

The event was held on May 30, 2015. It was the 3rd annual and this is the first I was able to attend. Rode my Z1 up from NKY. Took a couple of hours since I took the scenic route. I didn't enter my bike in the show since I knew I couldn't stay until the end because of the storms coming in the afternoon. I left before 2 pm and ran into rain off and on until I got closer to the Ohio River.

This 1978 KZ1000 was not part of the show either but I took a pic

Thanks. I didn't realize they had a drag strip in Xenia. You are correct, Xenia is pretty much in the middle of nowhere. But it isn't anywhere near the Mid-Ohio race track. That's in Lexington, OH some 120 miles north. They have a great vintage days there in July, I hear.

Well, I had to look that one up and found out Chip Noble III was a harness racing hall of fam-er. How did you know that, XI ED

That is supposed to be a great show and I'm even more bummed that I couldn't make it - though I am glad I missed the rain. My dad and I wanted to go, me on my 76 KZ400 and him on is newly restored 72 Triumph Bonneville but my nephew had a graduation party at the exact same time. Looks like there were some great looking bikes.

That's what I do for a living Bugs. Met Chip in 1984. Truly a gentleman.

Very cool, XI ED. Do you drive, train, or both?

Used to drive but the game has become very specialized. Don't plan on driving again so my win total will stay at 136. Some guys drive only so they are so much better than the rest of us. I only train now. Currently have 11 in training with 4 racing.
