We saw Jeff while at the Barber Vintage event last weekend. He still has a direct hand in the running of Z1 Enterprises/XS650. He's still living in NY. Only the warehouse moved to FL. We believe Jeff is less than happy with some aspects of the new operation, but he indicated things are still in transition and will improve with time.

Rob was unable to make the move to FL, and so is no longer with Z1E. Sad to lose such a great asset. We'll miss him.

Norton was at Barber also. We've known Norton for some years through VJMC. He's a quality individual who is committed to making the new operation run as smoothly as Z1E did in its heyday.

You said the same thing in this thread 1 month 4 days ago ....

Jeeze, I said this in July and everyone jumped my shit.
Told me I was trying to tarnish his reputation for personal reasons. ( I have ZERO issues with them btw. I like Jeff and rob )
Guess i was right after all.
Maybe people should listen to the guy who lives a 1/2 hour ride to them.

Finally got my motor back in after a starter clutch repair( fingers crossed) and ordered a set of exhaust gaskets and a few shims Sun late and got the order Wed (today) morn..... looks like Z1's exc service is still alive and well...... almost bought the stuff to fresh in up my 29s but will wait till mid winter probably for something to do.
1978 KZ650 b-2
700cc Wiseco kit 10 to 1.
1980 KZ750 cam, ape springs, stock clutch/ Barnett springs.
Vance and Hines Header w/ comp baffle and Ape pods, Dyna S and green coils, copper wires.
29MM smooth bores W/ 17.5 pilots, 0-6s and 117.5 main
16/42 gearing X ring chain and alum rear JT sprocket.

I have sent them 2 emails about replacement Kawy keys and have had no response to both emails Im done with them Their loss

PM- rstnick , he is our resident lock smith and does great work, all you need to have is the key number and he can cut some for you

Thanks Blue but i am doing a restoration and need the correct key blank. Key cutting is not a problem
