I talked to Norton on Wednesday. All is good. The move to Florida was a big event. He told me they are doing more for other make bikes also.

So how long has Norton been with Z1E? Is he a recent Florida hire?

Im not sure. I called to talk to them about front rim and that's who answered.

I have spent WAY more shekels than my bike is worth with Z!E...Actually spent over $900 on ONE order with them, on the phone with Jeff S. (Hella nice guy, cool accent!) Just called their "phone sales" dept a couple weeks ago, spoke with Rob, got my parts sorted out, only to be informed that they no longer accept phone orders! He could not tell me why, but as an old school grump, I appreciate the human touch...I can order online through feebay...Sheesh, SMH!

We saw Jeff while at the Barber Vintage event last weekend. He still has a direct hand in the running of Z1 Enterprises/XS650. He's still living in NY. Only the warehouse moved to FL. We believe Jeff is less than happy with some aspects of the new operation, but he indicated things are still in transition and will improve with time.

Rob was unable to make the move to FL, and so is no longer with Z1E. Sad to lose such a great asset. We'll miss him.

Norton was at Barber also. We've known Norton for some years through VJMC. He's a quality individual who is committed to making the new operation run as smoothly as Z1E did in its heyday.

Jeeze, I said this in July and everyone jumped my shit.
Told me I was trying to tarnish his reputation for personal reasons. ( I have ZERO issues with them btw. I like Jeff and rob )
Guess i was right after all.
Maybe people should listen to the guy who lives a 1/2 hour ride to them.

Finally got my motor back in after a starter clutch repair( fingers crossed) and ordered a set of exhaust gaskets and a few shims Sun late and got the order Wed (today) morn..... looks like Z1's exc service is still alive and well...... almost bought the stuff to fresh in up my 29s but will wait till mid winter probably for something to do.

I have sent them 2 emails about replacement Kawy keys and have had no response to both emails Im done with them Their loss
