We got snow last weekend but I am still hoping for more riding time this year.

We have a walk out basement that has a 32" entry door.
I can get my 1000 in and out by turning the handle bars this way and that but it is a pain, the storm door is shot and a 36" door will be a dream.
The basement is my work shop and with the wood stove makes it the warmest place in the house in the Winter
Also you never know when a nice day will pop up so I don't want to dissemble/reassemble the wife's bike every time we want to ride.

Be sure to leave the fuel tank outside. One small leak of gasoline near that wood stove could cause a problem. Ed

Just curious... what is the purpose of the cardboard?

I put the bike on its center stand and the front tire is sitting on the painted concrete, as you know it is not good let a tire sit in one spot on concrete for too long, also the paint tends to lift off the floor and stick to the rubber especially when they are fresh tires
Cardboard is thin and easy to roll onto

Yeah I know but the bikes are at least 20' away from the heat and I like to live dangerously

Ahhhh Painted floors are not a issue with me. Mine are decorated with rust, dirt, and various vehicle leavings
