At the end of my patrol I came up to some guys with crotch rockets. The yellow Honda just stopped. None of them had any tools and didn't even know where the fuses were.

I went back to the fire station and got my meter and a screw driver. The seat wouldn't come off without one. The battery was at 5.37 V. I had cables in our unit and let them jump it. It ran for a few seconds then died. I had them do it again and managed to test for charging. Nothing. At 11 V and falling fast. One said his brother was coming with a trailer. No fuses in the obvious places I wished them luck and went on my way.
More to come.

Those fellas knew nothing about bikes - sounded like the break down didnt even know it was a CBR 1000 and looked "SO GRATEFUL" that you took the time to stop for them. The stealer ships just love that sort - are they not interested in learning anything about their transport.
They looked extremely interested when you told them you had a Z 1000
Couple of harleys have stopped for over the years didnt want my help cause i was on a (far superior :) as far i was concerned) Jap bike - found out later on the battery terminals had come loose and they were too dumb to check.

If I were to get another dog, it will be like Rocky. I'd strap his carrier to the back and go.

So you are allowed to carry animals on the bike there ?
They banned that here years ago - you know we cant take responsibility for our actions - the government has to hold our hands

If they're in a cage, yes. I guess that's why you see so many people with their dogs in their laps  They're in cages right? Something I noticed too, women my age have dogs and hate men. Gone are the days when men were men and women loved it. Now I have to compete with a dog? They see me on Bossie and sneer at me. F em, she gets me off more than they ever could.
Now where in Nevada is the Chicken Ranch? :woohoo:

I see a trip to Nevada in my future  . I use to go to bars, spend $100 and maybe get laid. Had a chick borrow my car and she froze the motor trying to start it when it was out of gas. Kept getting guys to jump it till it wouldn't turn over. That $100 will buy a hour and I can go home or play the slots and drink for free. Spend the night in the hotel, then ride home. I'm talking myself into it. Better stop now.

I was sizing up their swing arms and front ends. One guy looked at me and I told him guys on our site take these parts and put them on KZ's. They laughed. Yep, those parts would look better on a KZP and not be hidden by all that plastic. B)
