Hey doc, I'll send a dumpster over and you can load up the windjammers.

Seriously, any old bike forum out there says the same thing about them; yet when i was looking for one, anyone local was trying to charge a butt load for it, go figure, right?
my bikes; 80kz1000(project), 77 gl1000, 74 h2 (project)
Past; 78 kz1000, 83 kz550

I had them listed localy for a while, but i got tired of dealing with the flakes of craigslist. I would give away either of the windjammers for free to someone on these forums, but shipping is astronomical because the thing is so big and heavy,

Let me say this about the Grandpa bike look. I defy any HD dresser to ride my dirt roads, follow trails to a nice spot to camp or just chill, hit the tight twisties were you can just lean over and kiss the ground and get to your destination with a weeks worth of cloths, lap top and goodies for the grandchildren. SO THERE.

hahaha, dont be bitter :P They are definitely purpose vehicles, i just am not a fan of the funky tall fairings. I have taken KZs on dirt roads and jeep trails and have always been impressed by how well they fair. I used to have saddlebags and a bunch of other crap when i traveled long distance, but over the years i have found that I prefer to slim it down to the absolute bare essentials for a week, plus camping gear. I use a bunch of ultra light hiking gear. one bag and a top rack.

Well I might get lucky, that's why the extra half helmet and a place for her. My granddaughter loves it when I pick her up at the bus stop on Bossie. The kids go nuts. She has her own full face pink helmet and a Yamaha Chappy. Soon she will be on a street/dirt bike. Of course a Kawasaki. Oh I forgot to mention the land sleds Honda, Yamaha, etc. in my last post. I like the Verseys. If I didn't have the Z1, I have one of them.

I wish my grandpa gave me bike rides when i was a kid, instead he would hotbox his malibu with cigs and drive around doing 40 regardless of whether he was on the freeway or in a school zone.
