Glad you said that!!! Thats the first thing that came to mind when I saw the picture for the first time.

A pan with some Safety-Kleen solvent and a good brush would do wonders on cleaning up that mess!!!

No eBay APP ID and/or Cert ID defined in Kunena configurationGet this lug nut tool set and always have the right socket. I've had these for 10 or 15yrs and never found a large lugnut type nut this 9pc kit does not cover. I see not great reviews here and there, but I've used these a lot and been real happy with them.

 Perhaps when measured between opposite points instead of measuring between opposite flats.

your are kidding right...i will not wash the area off with gas and a putty knife and rags and brush all the knooks and cranny's with gas and a throw away brush and clean the push rod off and carefully install it...i will not....never crossed my mind to clean that half inch of gravel and chain lube out of there...should I???

Glad you said that!!! Thats the first thing that came to mind when I saw the picture for the first time.

A pan with some Safety-Kleen solvent and a good brush would do wonders on cleaning up that mess!!!

According to the seller's listing, this set includes: sae sizes 3/4" (light green), 13/16" (purple), 7/8" (green), 15/16" (brown), 1" (silver), 1-1/16" (black) and metric sizes 17mm (blue), 19mm (yellow) and 21mm (red).

From the set, 1 1/16" socket -- which equates to 1.0625" or 26.9875mm -- is fitting the stock 27mm nut .

Not in the set, a 1 3/16" socket -- which equates to 1.1875" or 30.1625mm -- may fit the stock 30mm nut.

Good Fortune! :)

Whatever its original source, the apparently "over-size" 20mm (inside diameter) nut at hand appears deep enough to contain unused thread in this particular application.

:) Perhaps some automotive lug-nut?
