Carbs back on, and things are okay after a quick shakedown cruise. Tomorrow will be the acid test; new oil in and new battery.

Fingers crossed. Jeff, if you are itching for an EPIC ride, then take it. I don't think I can get to Maine anyway. It's just a bit too big of a risk at the moment, but I'd still like to try and jump in on a part of the ride somewhere.

No chance I'm keeping up with your turbo on an open stretch of road, but perhaps I can still join in on the Niagara leg.

Let me know how things look. PM, and we can exchange info....

Cheers!

My understanding is Squadrider has it in the Boston Mass area. He was supposed to go up to Maine last weekend. No word from him lately. :(

Its about the same distance
if i gotta go to boston or maine
however going to boston would give me a few more choices
to make the return trip
or at least to bring it to southern ontario
ive sent a pm to squadrider
i hope all is well with him
i hope this isnt the end of the line for this event
you all have a rider at your disposale if you need a save the relay rider
for about a week or two
if i wait that long
just try and stop me before I ride again
the turbo is tuned and soooooo smooth that i need to ride it
and so it shall be done
i just dont wanna be riding into hostile territory and im unfamilure with the area

I am available this coming week and weekend but am out of town for work from the 9th to the 13th. I will be around again un til the 18th and then leave for Mid-Ohio. I hope this wprks out as either direction will work for me from Burlington.

Jeffaski are you going to be the first? Leg#1 has a new rider Grandtorinobro to hand this off to our Leg#2. You can either give me your contact info or you can PM him directly. It's time for the flag to start its way through Canada!

If you can't make the handoff then is Jonny up and running yet? If not then we need a Plan C.

Oh you don't say....

Grantorinobro is not that close to where any Canadian relayers are... this may be an issue. Our nearest rider to him is you which means about 6-10 hours of travel split between the two riders.

First off, 9AM53 is going to have to contact Grantorinobro and see if they can work out a meetup. If it crosses to 9AM53 then the Canadian route is going to have to be recalculated. Can I ask you guys in Canada to talk about this change up and decide the new who to who so we can let Leg#1 know? (this is of course if 9AM53 and Grandtorinobro can work it out)

I msg'd him and am waiting to hear back. I don't mind riding to Qc to meet up with him, but I can't cross the border unfortunately. I messaged Mark too so we will see if we can figure this out soon.

after you boys grab the flag where is it going to stay, at your place Mark? Maybe I could do a shuttle service and take the flag from you and drop it off for somebody in the GTA or something. I would really like to be part of this, but won't be able to go out next saturday.

I'm assuming I'll be either the last (in which case I cross into Michigan at Port Huron) or next to last in Ontario. My problem is going to be timing due to family commitments and vacation. I'm good the weekend of July 28/29. The first 2 weekends in August are very iffy. The weekend of August 18/19 is good and then I'm gone until September. Might be able to sneak a vacation day in between. I'll keep an eye on this thread and maybe give Mark a call during the week.

I'm going to Mid-Ohio guys but will be back the night of the 21st so if needed I can help out on the 22nd (Sunday), or the following weekend. I'm good to go. As I seem to be somewhat in the middle, anyone can pm me for details. Big thanks to Jeff if he is going the long haul to get it into Canada.
