Looks like I dropped the ball since I already have commitments today.
I'll call Les and see if we can arrange something for the next handoff in southern Indiana.

Probably on the way there I'll slab it, take a little more relaxed way home but no twisty's! My tires need replaced badly but since I'm selling the bike I had intended to leave that to the new owner to pick out what they wanted on there. As a result I have a squared off rear tire and the front was just above the wear strips. For whatever reason the front wore like a pencil eraser yesterday and now I'm down to just "tread tattoo's"!

The tires are still sticky so I'm not as worried for a little slow paced trip like this in dry weather. I'll be parking this bike for the season after today's ride anyway.

Just read a PM from Les Holt said he popped his motor Sunday. Damm. Said he should be GTG Sunday.
The (my) current plan is meeting up with Les on the south side of Indy Sunday and riding into Nashville on some nice sweeping curves. Brian will (hopefully) lead on his KLR650 and we should do fine. I will speak to Brian tomorrow evening when he drops by for some car investigation (widebands are so useful).
I'll call Les Tuesday evening to see how things are going and we'll set everything up. I'll contact Ramtough_63 to set up a meeting location.
I'll be testing the GPz out more this week and getting her ready.
I'll also make it a point to check here every night until then.

Should be fun. Brian Wringer and I will be working on some umm, interesting routes on our way south. We really hate the slap.

BTW - if you make it to Nashville in time for next weekend's PseudoMoto Inaugural Rally, we'll be taking this little jaunt out to Ashland City & back with about 50 vintage bikes:

We are meeting up with Les (the KZ Gods Permitting) Sunday the 23rd in Terrehaute then I will be taking the Flag to Kentucky.(unless something changes) My schedule the following week should be open

(I may have to have a precedure on my shifting foot between now and then going to the doc today to
get that part lined out)

If My old girl makes it through this leg then I have to assume she can make it to Nashville
Where the Vintage Bike SHow that would be a great place to make the handoff.

Maybe our southern riders could come up then also

That looks like a damn fine ride!! 50 vintage bikes, YEAH! Gonna be a handful. We try to split up into groups when they get that big. Wish I could be there. Have a good one.

Didn't get the PM. Have to work out the details with Les Holt. My goal is to get some shots of some really quaint Indiana locations with the flag and Nashville is certainly one of the spots I would like to hit. I forget, do cells work in Nashville? We usually hit Story (another great small town I would like to get) and cells don't work there.

That may not happen on this trip.
There is a quaint little town in the middle of nowhere Indiana called Nashville. It has some nice sweepers on the road leading in, and some really nice looking shops and stuff. I plan on taking photos there.
