I need to hear which Canadian is going to cross the boarder to meet the Leg#1 guy.Haven't heard from some of the ones who were supposed to be the first riders in our leg in some time now.

Have you guys in Michigan , Ohio and Indiana figured out a route yet ?
I would like to burn a tank or two of fuel with you guys if it's do able.

No route per say yet , but Will and I are planning on meeting Kurt and Harm some where by Kalamazoo for a meet and greet and hand off the flag. Im sure the guys will tell us soon where that will be. The when appears to be getting close..

I thought kzrage had posted a second route?? that was why i was planning on fort wayne drop off from Kzoo. let me know if i'm wrong. because i am getting my bike license and insured for this relay as soon as i find out

Curt you are correct on the posted route, but it doesnt say what roads or where exactly you meet any relayers. Will and I are prepared to meet you and Harm where ever you guys agree on. Then you need to contact the next rider south of you to arrange the next hand off.

Kalamazoo to Fort Wayne may be do able for me, It's a 10 hrs. round trip with lay overs in St Joes and in Ft Wayne

I think those Canadians are going to make a run for it

Is their a park or someplace cool we can meet maybe between Hastings and Wayland ? We could all meet there and hang out for awhile then head toward home. That way Will and I can ride back roads to the meet without it taking 4 hours each way.. Let me know if this works. I figure that way we can all ride a share that day.

That's pretty much the plan, a general from who to who and the riders figure out the route and meeting place. It would be nearly impossible for me to select a route nor would I wantto impose that on anyone.

When it reaches Fort Wayne that is when I will set up those details for my part and then again once I pass it off. It's starting to look like we are going to have it pass pretty quickly from Canada so everyone should be prepared as much as possible here in the states!

I'm prepared but looks like I'm a passenger? I can do what ever is needed.
