their plan was to post lookouts at the strip joints and hooters along the route and then wait till the kzrider turned the bike off......then use shock and awe

Not sure I'd want to ride the freeway very much. My little 650 winds up a bit and with no windshield...I get tossed around a lot.

Correct with one possible caveat. Andy is trying to sell his KZ, if he does I don't know if he has another he can ride to be part of this relay. If he is out then there is the possibility of it coming from Michigan to you. Just putting that out there so you can say how that would work for you. Don't know how far south the flag will be able to come to meet up with you.

Curt, we need to hear from you as to how far south you can bring the flag to meet with the Indiana rider(s).

You're not too late. You will be on the third leg running from TX north to MN and passing through LA AR MO OK KS NE IL IA WI You get to maybe carry the flag through ND and SD. Check out the thread for leg 3. Updates and plans are being hashed out there. PM me with a cell phone number and a good email address so we can keep in touch if you don't frequent this site. I want to plant a idea with you.
I want to put it out there if maybe Will and I can meet you and Harm somewhere and hand off the flag to you. Harm stated that he didnt want to ride to far on his 550, so maybe we can meet somewhere cool North of Kazoo where Harm can ride over from Grand Rapids and we can do a meet and greet and then go on our way home. PM me and or Will or post it here with what you think. This would help keep things moving thru our area.

It seems like the Canadian border migrates south to Florida every winter and then it goes back north as soon as the temps hit 85 degrees....lol

Suggest you two talk and pick a place that suits us. Maybe a Kaw dealer, or Park, KZ air zoo. You guys know the area so let me and Will know and then we can go back to waiting , but we will be ready !!!!
