What do you mean? It looks like your average classic Kaw with the bog-standard turbocharger setup. Don't you have one in your garage?
O.K., me neither. Does look nice though.

never had a turbo....I'm sure it's a thrill like no other.

Street Fighter, have you got any dyno graphs on that monster?

And there is "Curt" along the way in kzoo so maybe we could pick him up.

Not sure I'd want to ride the freeway very much. My little 650 winds up a bit and with no windshield...I get tossed around a lot.

Hey, just checking in. I have PMed the two riders before and after me in this leg of the relay and have gotten no replies. I know it's early in the game, but I'd like to start planning the ride and getting a route put together.
Ain' no way I'm riding interstate to play flag relay on my KZ. This thing is made to turn, and turn it does. :P

Anyway, I appreciate everyone's patience and have got all who I think needed added to the map on there now. As for the Canadian section, I just took a wild stab at it as I couldn't find the thread where that was being discussed for some reason.

If any corrections or additions are needed, just let me know!

WE STILL NEED A RIDER BETWEEN PITTSBURGH AND CANADA, NOT THE WHOLE WAY NECESSARILY JUST A PART OF IT WILL HELP GREATLY!

Hey KZ Rage, I'm trying to create an updated map of the entire relay like I posted before. I am looking at your map and what is on the current Google map. Some of the riders are missing or seem out of place on Leg 2. In Indiana for example. I am including my map to see what I have included so far. Could you post an update version of your map I can grab information from?
I saw enaz1 involved in Leg 2 as well. Is he still part of Leg 2?

Hey Harm,
I will come all the way to your door if needed. Will (Renthorin) sent me a message somewhere on here about meeting I think you on the west side of state for lunch or dinner. My butt may take a beating , as Im more used to my Ultra Classic Geazer Glide for distance riding , but I plan on riding the Turbo LTD where ever we all agree on. Let me and Renthorin Know..

I sent a PM to Toad the other day. Im hoping he will bring the flag to the US side of the border unless Will makes other arrangements as I dont have a passport , and Im sure they arent gonna let my Turbo in Canada. I have had issues crossing before with noncompliant aftermarket exhaust. And I know Im about as noncompliant as you can get.
Let me know,
Dave

Will and I are doing this together as far as I know since we only live about 20 minutes apart. He or I can meet Toad in Detroit by the Tunnel or Bridge if he wants, then we can arrange the 2nd half of our relay to go to the West coast of Michigan based on the day of the week. Im guessing we will get the flag one weekend and hope to have it to the next Pony Express Riders the following weekend if not sooner. Im retired so scheduling is easier for me .

At this point the only thing I have planned is to ride across the state with Dave (Street Fighter). I'm open to picking the flag up in Detroit or across the stream in Windsor, whatever works.

I do have a passport so no biggie there. I get a kick out of security when I cross back into the US "Did you make any purchases?" Me on my bike wearing only a jacket. "Yeah...this sofa you see..."

Seriously though, whatever works best I'll try to accommodate : - )

Bikes aren't allowed through the tunnel, or at least last time I tried they weren't, so it will be the bridge.

Good to hear From you Harm, Renthorin and Street Fighter are thinking about joining us for lunch, or Dinner for that matter.
What ever works.

I was hoping to get some Chicago riders interested in a ride up the lake front on the same day so the earlier the better , but what ever happens happens. ;)

Hey KZJoe900, I just updated the map and have posted it in the very first post of this thread.

I will be updating that map as things change so it will be the master map.

Please email me if you are going to drop out or join, it is easy for me to miss when someone just drops off the map.

I have left the numbers of those who were but no longer are part of Leg#2.

We still have the two long rides on out leg. Unless we find a solution to them then we may have to resort to mailing. The Pittsburgh to Canada run is the one that is most likely to cause us the most trouble though the Mississippi to Tennessee run is a bit much too.

I have a 4-5 hour ride one way getting it to Hypnohio depending on where I meet him. Since Andy dropped out it will shorten my trip as now I will meet George in Indy which is a 2-3 hour ride one way.

EDIT:
The Canadians have their own posting about who to who here on KZR, my map is very general once it crosses the border, best you take a look at their thread to get a better idea of where it will travel on that side of the border.

Glad you posted this because it is news to me.
This will shorten the schedule, since I may just stay on the slab the day I pick it up and meet you somewhere between Indy and Ohio. Worst case is I go home the day I pick it up and ride toward you the next day. I'll just slab it again and the handoff can happen.
