I realize pictures can be deceiving but it seems as though the paint job was done fairly well... In a weird kind of way, hell of an eye grabber so I'd possibly keep it as is as well....

the 70's paint jobs are as cool now as they ever was.
unless you did NOT like the paint jobs from the seventies,in which case they suck as much now as they did then :pinch: .
i wore bell bottoms as a kid and thought everything about bikes in the seventies was cool so i may be biased.

ive got a 73 z1 sitting in the barn with the gold/green metalflake body work from back in the day with kawasaki airbrushed in huge letters on tank.
im guessing that must of been somebodys dragbike back in the day ,then they shoved a stock motor back in it and used big motor in something else.
