04 GSXR 750(bolt on galore)
98 CBR 600F3(filter, pipe, adjustable cam sprokets, dyno tune)

Man, that's good!
We just call it the shop bike but that's funny. First time I've had the motor out but I've done a lot of little things testing things so I'm pretty familiar with it. I will say this, first time I ever had to pull a swing arm to install a motor.

It did for 5 miles or so. I slipped a 1260 together, pistons were new and sleeves like new, wrong! 1 sleeve really egged and blew oil like crazy, down getting sleeve replaced. should be up in a couple weeks. To make matters worse, laptops dont bounce well, now home pc and no software for camera loaded yet so no pics of the relay handoff.
It's been a bad week to say the least.

Well if 3 is the magic number I'm good, when pushing the bike backwards it goes right into 2nd gear, forward is fine, the shift forks were a little looser than I like but had just put my last good set in a friends bike the Saturday before mine broke. So now I have to change them as well. Out of 52 weekends a year It couldn't have picked any worse of a time is all I'm bothered with. That 1260 was going in another bike to go along with Aarons paint he's doing for me but it looked to be a faster change than splitting cases and going all the way back together. Oh well, it's over with now and time to move on.

Little update on the old girl, All parts are done and back and ready to put in the motor. Decided to go ahead and finish the other turbo setup and finished mocking up all the piping today. Finish welding tomorrow and off to ceramic coating Tuesday!

April, Oh yeah, we are doing Daytona bike week, Leaving the evening of the 13th and I'm taking carbs and pipe in case I have issues with the turbo setup. I don't have weather here to test and pipe going out tomorrow for ceramic coating and it takes up to 10 days! Talk about crunch time!

I would definetly keep it, where the hell you going to find another one like it?
I have a 1980 Kawasaki KZ750 Ltd. I bought new. I recently managed to get it out of my garage after 28 years and put it on the road again (2010). I feel like a kid all over again. Since I have acquired 3 78 KZ1000 Ltd, 1 1981 KZ1000 Ltd, and another 1980 KZ750 Ltd. Love the LTD's.

Oh, we going to ride Dave!

As for selling it, "MONEY TALKS". I'd sell it and it's actually going to have a for sale sign on it in Daytona. I'll take the money and do another one. Like I said along time ago, I enjoy building probably more than riding.

Okay, I changed the dump pipe, I liked the big dump but like the added leg clearance more. ;)

that looks really sanitary.

are turbo bikes loud?

cause that looks like it would put it to where it would be echoing right into your helmet.

i know nothing about turbo bikes tho and that may not even matter.

keep up the good work sir.

and,

keep us posted.

They are loud only on boost. The turbo is a very good muffler and actually makes for a nice tone. I finally got a company to do the ceramic coatings in a tight time frame so I should be looking decent for Bike Week
Thanks Leon. I've not had a lot of time to spend on this thing lately.
