I believe it is still in Seattle, WA Forrest. Which on a totally selfish level is good. That means I may get another chance to carry it again.

Do we have any riders in Nevada? I believe Old Man Rock is near me in AZ. Any other AZ guys. How about New Mexico?

Thought this would be a good time to check in on The Relay. Is the Relay Flag with Schuss if it is wintering in Seattle? If so, this means Killman may be able to participate and get British Columbia pinned on the map this spring! Toolmaker may then find fair enough weather to bring south toward N. CA. And, Dumont may have his KZ restored for Central Cali. There are many other Relay possibilities I have not even considered. So everyone interested in the Northwest, West to the Southwest legs, don't be shy. Step up to participate or get the word out to others.

Looks to be getting that time for KZ Riders to check in and sound off! The more riders, the merrier! Let's get this relay kick started for 2014!

Yep, I have it in Seattle, and will do my best to meet anyone or accommodate those who want to participate. My bike is running great thanks to tips from Motor Head and a few others. I put a couple hours on it yesterday in the fog since it's been over 50 the last few days and dry enough, and it was just too tempting.

I guess if I can't set the record for longest miles run with the flag... I can set the record for sitting on it in one place the longest...

The new shop is almost finished and I should be all moved in by spring , so I'll be ready.

Appreciate the update Schuss and Toolmaker. And way to keep the positive attitude going during the short days and long nights! I believe there may be others stepping up soon to offer their support in The Relay. Thanks again for hanging in there.

I've got a proof of the patch artwork shown here. What do you all think? It's basically the same as the tee-shirt with a minor change to the text. Make suggestions for changes here or I can start another thread. It labels the wearer as a flag carrier. Maybe I could drop the second 'r' in 'Rider' for some people that rode support or not. I want consensus on what to do. Also need to know how many to order. I think a minimum of 100 would do for a start. I was # 52 on the flag and I don't think there will be 20 more carriers after that. So 100 patches will cover the carriers with some extra if somebodies
want more than one. Cost will not be much. Maybe $3.00 each plus postage depending on quantity ordered.
The picture is way big. Actual size of the patch is 2 3/4" X 4"

I'd buy one. I will say that a 4" patch is pretty big. I'm not real sure where I'd put it on my jacket. I'd still buy one, but I'd prefer a smaller patch.

Glad to see my T-shirt art getting used again! I think the font I used originally was the Blade Runner font. It's a little cheesy, but I like cheese.

I took the blade cut out of the font.
The picture is way bigger than 2-3/4 X 4. Draw a 2-3/4 X 4 rectangle on a piece of paper to get a better idea. The patch will go on the sleeve of my leather jacket and another on the front of my denim vest.

I like both the patch and the T-Shirt idea. Jon, I am down for couple of Rally Shirts I think Topper has a T-shirt design for the Relay itself and offers them when there is enough interest. I still want to get my hands on one of those too!

Yep! In fact Tom's borrowed my shirt design for his patch. Happy to start collecting more orders (pm me) and equally happy to see a new design. Hell, I could use another mc shirt.

I'll probably put the order in early in March unless there is a lot of ordering late this month then I'll wait for order activity to slow down. Then I'll know how many we need.
