I remember going to Edgewater Park to watch a national meet. He had this bike there and at the time, while most Z1 racers were running 1170-1200 motors, he stayed with the 1075 and tried to use rpm to make up the difference. He was working with the headwork to make up any loss from the smaller motor. If I remember right, he won that weekend over Terry Vance. The H-2's were still running then.

Man thats a long ass wheelbase,needs a 1428 turbo nitrous motor stuffed in there to make use of all of it! :woohoo:

That's a good looking bike! It does need a turbo. I don't see struts but can't tell if it's mono shocked. I did see spray but also stock looking carbs.

Thats a totally rigid frame on that bike,no rear suspension im thinking,those axle adjusters look like kosman stuff B)
Yeah those are 29s on it,zoom in and look for the little box right above float bowl. B)
Looks like a survivor from the the old pro street bike class back in the 80s B)

Thats why i always went out of my way to slip the clutch on my 1327 really bad to prevent such a thing from happening!
The good news was he was running an APE low profile oil filter cover,the bad news was his full size gpz replica bodywork seems to be pointing in the wrong direction! :sick: :sick: :sick: :sick: :sick: :woohoo:
