I have 5-1/2 weeks to do this, my goal is to have this chassis turned into a whole bike, running and road ready, on display at the Gibralter show with Streetfighterdave. Object is to take an all original Z1 chassis and turn it into a competent street performer with some modern day amenities for handling, safety, and looks without taking away from it's real roots, ZERO frame mods except for mild frame bracing!!! Follow along as I hope to post up pics in the next few days. For now, I have lots of cleaning in preparation for paint and mock assy.

Done a parts inventory and started getting parts ordered and build planned out. Got cases and most covers ultrasonic cleaned and blasted with walnut shells today. Experimenting with black wrinkle finishes on covers, anyone have any insite?
Anyone recognize this?
