I want to make sure you think they are worth it. Some cracks and patched tabs. JD Weld slowset and hardware cloth made some good fixes on the inside of the panels. Some use ABS glue and even add in ABS shavings.

A little fiberglass and ABS glue will fix that. Next time I repair ABS parts I'll embed the glass in the glue then resin over it.

I have a 1997 concours that my wife and I enjoyed for the 4 seasons of riding that we had it. By far the best upgrade was a shock from a c14. I used the bottom bolt from the stock bolt to make a bushing. My wife loved it because it stopped bottoming out. Only issue is the side stand is now too short.

My stock one is to short now bike lean's over to much for me.

I just put it on the center stand all the time, with the longer rear shock, it is really easy to get up on the center stand. I am planning to strip it down and make it a commuter bike when the weather gets warmer. I took the headlight off my GPZ1100 for the resto mod, may put it on the connie just so it has a headlight.

I also put the front brakes from an RC-51 on my bike, Helped with stopping. The brakes on the connie are the same pattern as the suzuki bandit and this is an upgrade a lot of bandit owners do . There is a company that sells mounting adapters. Along with some spacers from McMaster Carr it went right in.
