This bike had been sitting in my garage for a few weeks now, but I finally got the keys and title today, so I tore into it!

First thing I did was change out the bars, but a new battery in, and new plugs.

I was only getting fuel into one carb, so I removed the carbs and almost fell over laughing at when I saw the problem.

I got her to start but the carb that wasn't getting any fuel was now leaking.

I was super excited to see the tool kit there still. Lol I am going to cherish those KZ branded tools.

To do list

1. Clean crabs correctly
2. Oil change
3. Valve adjustment

Then idk

So far I have cleaned the carbs, adjusted the valves (I hope I did it right, it seemed way to easy), replaced the front tire and got the chain cleaned and adjusted.

She fires up and runs great. I have noticed some white smoke, but am certain it is simply from the PO over filling with oil.

Next thing on the list is definitely an oil change.

Went for a few short rides and was really impressed with the get up and go. This little bike might give my kz750 a run for her money.

Looks good dude. I'm guessing one of the floats was way off?

The PO had installed the float upside down. I'm still leaking a little gas from the carbs, but nothing a rebuild kit won't fix.

Finally figured out why the carbs were leaking. I thought it was the float bowls, but it was a bad oring on the fuel inlet.

My idle seems to stick sometimes. Any ideas as to what might cause that?

I also found a few holes in the mufflers. I'm going to switch it out with mac two to two from the other bike.

Today I got the 2-2 MAC exhaust installed along with some new signals.

I fiddled around with the carbs and throttle cable and got my idle issues taken care of.
