I used VHT engine primer and paint
I have some VHT Rollbar and Frame for the frame but I am shopping around for powder coat pricing in my area. This is a budget build, but if the price is good, Ill go with the powder.

Well, its official: the rust is just too much work on my current tank so I bought this on 3bay:

Slight surface rust inside which i can remove. No dents just dings and pretty decent paint. I love the '88 GPz550 paint scheme tho so I am contemplating these changes (problem is, the decal set is like $170 and I only want the tank ):

Thanks, how many cans and was that semi gloss. It sort of looks like a high gloss.

That was a wet shot... i went with 'Satin' which is between matte and gloss.

It can be done with a can of each... I grabbed two just in case.
