.......which would indicate you may have an exhaust valve leak issue (on the right cylinder)......

Oh ok. I wasn't sure if it was both cylinders that you're supposed to blow in, or just the one.

Still a bit confused though, because it was the left cylinder that I was having issues with.

Both valves in the cylinder being leak-tested must be in fully closed position while air pressure is being injected into the cylinder through the spark plug hole.

Be sure that the cam lobes are pointing away from the valves.

The leak-down test won't work if either valve is being held open or partially open by it's respective cam.

Well don't think its worth much more then u paid. It's just worth fixing because of the condition its in.

Saweeeeet,,congrats,,and...another kaw kept from rotting away,,,how freakin nice,,when i first got my 78 ltd1000,,,i spent days ndays with it in my air conditioned garage detailing it from front to rear,,even tho it was work,i enjoy'd ever minute

Yeah, I probably should, but it's in such nice condition, and I know if I keep it, I'm going to end up stripping off most of the parts and building something custom. I would kinda feel guilty about it lol.

Put some 650 bars on it. I didn't like they way the old ones angled towards me. It was uncomfortable for my wrists
