Hello all...took all the parts off the kz for my gpz restore and going to make the kz into a café racer.
Looking for ideas for the easiest café seat and tank combo...any ideas?
The tank is toast on the Kz rusted through so I'll be looking for something that will work there also.
I can't find a tank anywhere for this bike...1982 gpz 750 or 82-84 kz 750l3...any ideas? :)

Im not too sure about a tank but maybe go to a bike salvage yard, you might find something. As far as a seat, the easiest one I could think of (without cutting the frame or anything like that) would be from dime city cycles: www.dimecitycycles.com/legendary-motorcy...at-mounting-kit.html

Supposedly it works on just about any motorcycle; I got one for my kz250 brat project and its turning out good. Had to do a little cutting to the seat pan and the mounting blocks to get the width and height that I wanted, but they give you instructions for all of that. Good luck!
