Thanks for that Alan. I actually have an integrated '01 Ducati light that fits just as well. I was just trying to go more custom. a lot of guys are doing the same mods I am so I like to invent a few one off items to keep some degrees of separation.

Comparing the two the Honda one does look to fit/fill better

As soon as I can figure out how to get the pivot bearings out of the swing arm to replace them I will be able to get my sprocket alignment figured out.

I am also debating making a custom rear duck tail out of aluminum. There are some cool things u want to do but I still want it recognizable as a KZ. It's why I have decided to go back to the single head light but with a super bright LED bulb.

Be cautious of LED headlight bulbs. There are very few that are either a) legal (I doubt that's much of a deterrent) or b) actually bright enough to be used at night.

If you're spending real money (probably a couple hundred realistically) you should be fine. But all the <$100 LED's are probably going to be crap.

The ones I'm looking at are around 150-200. They are 5000k in brightness

5000K is good but it is actually the color, not the brightness. At that cost you're probably looking at a nice setup, probably with heat sinks. I just often see people grab $30-50 LED's online (eBay mostly) and they look nice in the headlight but don't really project any light. On a bike particularly that's scary so I thought I'd share my worry. I personally plan on eventually going HID in a projector if I can't figure out how to make it not look cheesy

I appreciated you looking out. I would never go fashion over function, not my style. ;)

Got a couple of packages in the mail today.

Polished stainless steel bolt kit.

Wiring in almost all the exact colors as stock and a Deutsch connector kit. My weekend starts on Friday, I'm going to be busy with that harness all day. Will get so pics of the progress.
