The topend is just mock up while the final product is getting machining, but this give an idea of the finished product. Still a lot to do, mostly sorting controls, kickstand, sissybar, and all 7 wires. There's still a foot of snow here so I have time.

I'm not much of a chopper guy but I like to see this style of bike. These older style bike have character unlike the cookie cutter choppers that are churned out these days. Keep up the good work it looks sweet.

Wow! Does this build take me back! Anybody remember "Jammer" products? One could build an entire hardtail bike (less engine) out of their catalog! Carl Casper's auto show always used to have bunches of metric choppers on display...I used to spend more time "slack jawed" in front of them than practically anything else there! Looks like it'll be scary and kinda uncomfortable to ride, (but that has always been the tradeoff with a chopper!) Way cool, be careful! Take care of your front brakes, guys...You'll miss em when they're gone! LOL!

:) Nice job so far, I like the old school choppers also. I have an old santee frame, kz1075 with Andrews 3x cams, springer front end, I did upgrade to disc brakes all around the drums scared me too death. Will be posting pics soon. Keep old school alive!! Oh yeah on the Louisville Ky Craigs list there is an old rough looking KZ chopper listed I believe in Leitchfeild KY if someone needs a project,

Got the tank back from the painter, all ready for the mural. It's been wetsanded so it isn't really the color that shows in the pic. It actually matches the grips spot on. Slowly but surely getting there,. Still have a lot of things left to make.

Sorry about a lack of updates but its riding season so I've been riding. Had to ditch the mag for the time being as it needs a new coil, and took the carbs off because they were leaking fuel and I got too impatient. Here she is all done and with about 1k miles under her. As of now I've probably put 1500-1800 miles on it with really not problems other than some electrical bugs in the beginning.

So COOL! Takes me right back to the 70's. There was only 1 Kaw chopper in my "hood". There were more Honda 750's and Triumph choppers.
Never touch that original stuff! Preserve it!
That should be in the AMA museum in Ohio or National MC museum in Iowa.
