So I bought with a old engine on her. And a spare blown engine. I worked hard for a couple months and brought her back to life. I was about 1700 miles into the season when my number 1 piston went...
So I sat with my dead bike and was very sad, and then a buddy proposed a wild idea. Take the jug off a 1100. And the piston off a different 1100. At first I did what you just did...

But I have done my research and ordered my parts....

So you all get to see how it turns out...
Here's from a ride we did right before she blew number one...

starting on my bench tonight. (I need a good place to build the engine.)

The gaskets have arrived,
pistons and jug should be here Thursday....

not 100% sure.
But the piston was pretty much destroyed in the cylinder. All of the offending parts are being replaced, plus some :D

And screeching halt...

So I need a crankshaft on inspecting it I find that my rod is bent....
(That's what's she said)

So the search is on

1981 kz1000m csr crankshaft assembly needed :|

Crankcase went together this weekend! we tested out the top and it looks like all should work with the modifications to the engine (1000 to 1100 cc) The exhaust value don't have much play but should be alright. rest looks good. should be building out the rest of the engine this week :D
