Still working on it, just not much worth showing. Got the front brakes installed and made a splitter. Built a battery box, sorry no close up pic. Rear rim back from being straightened, polished, painted and tire mounted. Next up buy a chain, make a shift linkage, mount the lights and paint.

Tank and tail will be red with the white stripes and flat black between them. Side panels will probably be solid red. Front fender will be red down the middle and flat black down the fork leg protectors (if I use that fender).

Always here, just find there's a lot less bike time available now the weather is nicer. My daughter graduates high school tomorrow and next weekend is my annual beer drinking, dirt bike riding, pellet gun shooting mans weekend competition. I have a championship to protect so I can't miss it. Will need to get more creative at finding time to finish this up.

Alan,
This is looking amazing! I'm hopefully conquering the rear end on my 650 this week, hoping for the same good looks that you've got here.

Thanks Devin, I'll bet your mono turns out great. Are you grafting on the shock mounts with the engine still in the frame?

Thanks, Alan
And I am- I left it in place to be able to line the sprocket up (the bike was on the road last year). Worse comes to worse, it's a quick drop out to give us a bit more room to line it all up. You did yours with the engine out when you were painting everything right?

I had the engine in when I first attached the swingarm. I took it out to weld the shock mounts. I'm not that good at welding upside down, or things I can't see very well.
