Ya I like how the wheels turned out too. To be honest the candy cane exhaust to me sounded cooler in theory then execution but I decided to keep it but I'm not sure If I am sold on it as well so I am waiting until the end to see. Worst case I have have it solid black in a weekend.

Thanks man. Ya I'm getting excited as it's getting closer and I want to get to the point where I can tie it all together for everyone. I want it to be crazy yet cool and not gotti like the over done busa's and gixers, etc.

Here is what's going currently. I have ordered a couple parts for my super E carb...well turns out its a super G carb. On top of that it was more modified than I thought. I have discovered it has been bored out on both the manifold and intake side. So this thing "could be" all top end.. Will have to see once I use it unfortunately.
I got the first round of clear on the tank, seat, sprocket and starter cover. The tank and seat do have a bit of the orange peel effect so I will sand this weekend and clear again with more of a wet instance to finish it off. I will also touch up the few blemishes on the wheels and clear them.
I rushed the painting of the swing-arm and wasn't happy with it fully so I'm going to redo it.

I thought it was a Super 'D' you had got ???
I have a 'G' on mine and it's a great improvment with the accel pump on.
Still need to go bigger though (a 'D' would be ideal).
Remember the original injector was 55mm so it's all about getting big chunks of air into that blower, especially to avoid restriction at the top.
Just been back through this thread and it IS a 'D' you have.

Hahaha! You are right! Just measured 57mm same as a D. I wonder why I thought I had an e carb.. Then I thought I had the G cause I thought they got bigger with the letters, and then I thought it was bored cause G stopped at 2 1/16. Stupid thing is I bought a couple super e parts..fail!
Well on the bright side my machine shop buddy got his computerised mill back running so he was going to make me the flange for the carb and the foot peg block mounts.

I also re sanded and primered the swing arm. and boxed up majority of the wiring at the side panel.
Looking back I wonder how much re-work I have done in this project, I am guessing its 25%+.
