So paint should be ready in about a week and a half.......frame and all the big parts are at the powdercoater and should be done in about two weeks. So I had one quick thing to check....

Getting closer.......

Very cool badges! I bet you could make a few bucks marketing them. Ed

I designed them and horse traded making a custom motorcycle harness to adapt an ignition to a ZL900 in exchange for him doing th CAD work for these badges. I was test fitting them to ensure fitment before he sends me the file to have them CNC'd out of brass stock.

No eBay APP ID and/or Cert ID defined in Kunena configurationLes, do you know anything about this place for trans back cutting ?

they sound reasonable , & 100% guaranty

Just seen this, I can't say I've seen this shop but it's not to take away from it. I've always used Schnitz or FBG for tranny work.

Those badges look like a marriage of the W1SS and a KZ badges, pretty slick

Wasn't planning on it. The designer and I have a pact of sorts that we have to agree to make any more than the pair for my bike. Potentially there would be the possibility to make some for sale.

Well there may have been inspiration from the early Kawi's and the factory badge with a bit of tweaking.....

Will they be finished as polished brass then? I'm really curious about these...it's such a unique idea.

Yes. They will have the lettering and part of the flag painted in enamel white and the flag design will be painted red. Then they will be fully clear coated to prevent oxidation. I am having the stick side badges plated in brass then painted and cleared as well.:

So besides swing from the roof pressure washing the house, got the engine torn down and filling in my measurements along the way...

Then rolled the cases only outside and a little Easy Off and the water heater feeding my pressure washer to clean it before I glass bead it.

The result.....

Also some new garage toys showed up......

That is it for now....
