thanks Tusch! glad you are enjoying the build mate.

i read your comment after sitting in the shed having a beer and looking at the bike for over an hour now and i totally agree with you, i think the tail needs to sit about 150mm past the center of the rear wheel, your right its just too stubby!

i have had a play and as it sits now the tail finishes where the original seat would normally finish.

and it gives me a lot more room to do the "Y" section too.

That is just enough farther back to get the look back. What style seat do you plan on doing, flat and simple race foam or more shape and contour like a stock seat recut?

This is going to be awesome when finished. I've really enjoyed watching this build. Agree moving the tail back looks better, but the first line in your signature says it all.

im much happier with the tail now, here is a pic of the seat in using, i will be pretty much cutting the back off about 25mm behind where it steps up, basically like a foam race seat but with more padding.

cheers Haybus ill make sure i keep the updates comming.

Well it did look all nice and re covered.....

You can see the line i drew where i will cut the seat back to.

Its fucken awesome to sit on!!!
Tho i may need some bigger risers, its a bit more of a lean over that long tank than i thought it would be.

A quick mock up and its starting to look like image i have had in my head for 2 years.

That will sit between the risers not sure on the light yet as i may put my oil cooler out front where the light should be....

Stance looks great!! No a huge fan of the kicked up tail look, but that's just my preference. Click the link in my sig for my riser mounted dash, last couple pages.

Loving the stance and look, I bet it feels amazing to hop on. Also thrilled to see you get here since I'm going nowhere on my build and yours looks like mine's big brother haha

Tusch, mine went no where for months and it took me about 2 hours to get it rolling.... I wish imhad more time to put into it instead of an hour here and there.
