I got the hacking done on the HacktheMac project. I am happy with the results. I bought this pipe about 20 years ago. It was still real solid.

Looking back at this you totally simplified the wiring hey? No relays?

There is one relay up by the coils. It feeds the points, dyna and lights. With the turbo I had 3 relays because of the oil lube pump and the fuel pump. It was also a hacked stock harness so there was extra stuff in it.

I got the carbs on. Poured some fuel in the bowls. Went to hit the enricher and they are stuck  I was able to get it fired up but couldnt get it ti idle. No fuel hooked up so I didnt try to hard.

Anything I should look for when I pull em?

I realize my carbs are different, but in my owners manual it says to put a couple drops of oil on the enrichment caps (see yellow arrow in pic) where the little shafts run through the rubber dust caps. I know it's a long shot, but it may be worth a try before removing the carbs. Ed

Have not updated for a while. I have had a chance to ride the bike abit although only on my gravel roads. I like the seating position with the drag bars, lowered seat height and rearsets. Suspension seems good, exhaust sounds good. May need to do a little fine tuning on the carbs but maybe not either. Need morr seat time to be sure. One of the members made me some nice adjustable links for the rear suspension.Waiting on a nut so I try them out. Will try to get a vid of it running soon.

So did you find a length that fits your height? Do they clear everything? Looks good Wayne but need a full bike view.

Still messing around with the settings Cory. I need a nut before I can try them out. I have been riding it with the stock lengths. Winter is closing in fast and it is not licensed yet (nor done). A full review with a burnout or 3 is fourthcoming! Thanks again for your part in it.
