Sure thing... It will be raining on Sunday here, so that will give me some time to dive into it. I have already drawn up a wiring ID chart, and I must say its going to be pretty freaking simplistic.

No fuses, no relays, one wire tail light. Keeping, stator and reg/rect and thats it. At least that's how is suppose to work. :) OO and no key!

OK, here is my basic wiring layout. Gonna get started on this tomorrow, so I welcome any input form the wiring gods.

The left/right controls will both be handled with a single multiple conductor cable, more then likely 6, but maybe 9 to leave me some room to use the other buttons if I need them. That lap button would be a great nitro button.. lol

OK, just a quick update on the build. This will probably by my last update for a week or so, as we are leaving Wed for the Gator Nationals.. :evil: Won't be back till Monday.

So I finished up the battery and components box and mocked everything up (reg/rect, battery, starter relay, M-Unit, M-Lock, and a spot for my custom igniter. I used all my old components for mock up purposes and will be replacing later. Now I just need to pull the box apart and paint it before I start running the wiring permanently.

A quick note on the M-Unit and its mounting arrangement. I originally planned on mounting it on its own tray horizontally across the top of the battery box facing up. However, the unit has a built in alarm w/tilt sensor and for that to work it has to be mounted vertically like you see it now. How effective it is has yet to be seen, but figured if it has it I will try and use it.

Also, you may have notice above that I added back in the starter relay. The M-Unit starter relay is rated at 40A and recommends using the factory relay for some motorcycles with larger draw. So I figured I would use it to make sure I didn't have an issue.

Lastly, that the M-Lock is mounted at the bottom of the tray in front of the M-Unit. You can see it in the first pick. It will sit behind the side cover and be completly hidden from view. A quick pass of the FOB should fire her up. (in theory) We shall see. .

OK I lied.. lol

I got these in the mail yesturday, sooner then i thought and as I had a difficult timing tracking them down I thought I would post the info in case anyone else doing a build or adding rear sets needs them.

These are Metric (M-6) Hex Bar Turnbuckles. They come in various sizes and are like 5 bucks a piece. I got them from Midwest Control Products. Fit, finish, and function is prefect.
