Try the ZX10 linkage, usually around $10 or so on e-bay. I'm pretty sure you'll need the links also from a ZX10. Alot of the 10 owners put zx6 linkage and arms on to soften the ride. The 10's have a more agressive leverage ratio to the shock acting as a higher spring rate.

new tail light will be in today I am gonna try to make a fiberglass mount and license plate holder all in one that mounts into the fin

Plan is to use an old tail clean it wax it and take some thin aluminum bend my shape Inluding license plate holder poor my resin in and my matting to cover everything let it dry and when I pop it out I will have my holes for mounting to the frame/fin and a shelf for the light to sit in and whent I insatall it I will use 3M tape to secure the top side to the fin like they do the chrome rocker kits on trucks hopefully the aluminum will reinforce it enough to not crack I will post some pic's when I et started on it.

wishe me luck I plan on moving the plate a little further out than my last design.
I think my last plate holder (was bolted together was the culprit or my fat arse but hopefully
the new design will be cooler and last longer.

Correct me if I read that wrong ramtough; are you going to use the aluminum as a template/mould for a fiberglass part?

originally my plan was to make my template out of cardbpard etc.. lay the glass in and reinforce with thin strips of aluminum but as i have started that wasnt a good plan lol

ok my first draft is a little shakey not enough planning so to speak lol ok complete lack of knowledge

totally hidden from the side i sprayed some black on it to cover up the ugly was going to make the license plate frame and mount all one piece but think thats over my head

it didnt come eith the nuts to mount it and i dont have any that size so i have to
pro it up but every thing is flush by the time i put th rubber grommets and a strip
of rubber for vibration should work ok

i have bought a couple tail lts a zx12 and a Harley lt. I’m not sure which 1 I like best yet. when i get around to mounting 1, i thought i may let it stick out a bit, so it can be seen from the side. i was thinking safety/visibility, more so than aesthetics.

yeah i'm not sure im gonna like this one it may be too far up but after my last mis-hap im thinkin
i will have to seriously bottom out to tear this one off lol
